WHAT WE DO

Education. Research. Discovery.

NARG operates at the intersection of scientific rigor and adventurous exploration, with significant specimens donated to recognized museums so they remain in the public domain.

Fossil Search & Rescue

In the fossil-rich Pacific Northwest, specimens of significance are revealed by erosion and excavation. NARG is on the front line to recover and preserve our vanishing fossil record before it's lost.

University Collaboration

We partner with scientists at Oregon State University, University of Oregon, University of Alaska, and OMSI to study and properly curate specimens for the scientific community.

Public Education

NARG sponsors the NW Fossil Fest, participates in programs and shows, and invites everyone from age 10 to 80+ to learn about the ancient world beneath Oregon's soil.
